Dusty landscapes, frontier towns, rough outlaws, personal vendettas... this title offers most everything a body could want in a western, with a fantastic twist. Unfortunately, it doesn't do more than tease at the titular Weapons Casters and the rules of this alternate world, and the whole thing ultimately feels more like a prequel than a complete story. I had hoped for a little more. Still, it reads fast and is reasonably intriguing.Product details

This was a neat little story set in a western universe.
When I was done I browsed around thinking there'd be more of the same in either short story or novella form where more of the setting/science/magic would be explained. I browsed around but this seems to be a stand alone so you're kind of left not knowing a great deal like why the coats are important or how guns work.
Maybe we'll get more later, it was still a fun little short western-ish.
